Hi,

We, Funk Factory Films, are looking for a passionate intern to fulfill an editor position within our post production division. We have state of the art facilities for both Adobe CS5 (PC) and Final Cut Studio (MAC).

We are looking for someone that has experience with Final Cut or Adobe Premiere. Knowledge of After Effects or other VFX applications are an asset extremely useful for this position.

Responsibilities would include assistant editor work, stock footage consolidation, and given the ability, lead editorial on commercial or music videos produced by the company.

This would be a 3 month unpaid internship with the potential for a full time position with the company.

IF YOU HAVE A REEL THAT YOU CAN PROVIDE (email) then please be in touch with us.

Apply to be their intern and you might just be allowed the most gracious opportunity to cut a paid project for free saving them the embarrassment of trying to lowball an actual editor. That is, of course, if you can prove your ability otherwise they might just keep you as an unpaid assistant editor and be forced to post another ad for some other schmuck.
I should also point out the quality of their "state of the art facility" of PS and FCP. Completely purchased using a borrowed student ID card.
